Erasmus+ Time Banks: εκπαιδευτικό ταξίδι στο Βερολίνο
Κατά την εβδομάδα 7-12 Απριλίου 2024 δεκατέσσερις μαθητές του Α’ Αρσακείου Τοσιτσείου Λυκείου Εκάλης επισκέφθηκαν το λύκειο Europaeisches Gymnasium Bertha-Von-Suttner στο Βερολίνο της Γερμανίας, συνοδευόμενοι από δύο συνοδούς καθηγητές.
Οι Σ. Αναστασίου, Α. Ασημάκη, Γ. Κουστένης, Α. Μακρυδάκη, Ε. Μητσώνη, Α.Μ. Μόνου, Σ. Μπαλαφούτα, Μ. Μπαλτζόγλου-Κουσιέρα, Σ. Παμιαδάκης, Κ Παπαγιωτίδη, Ε. Πετεινού, Γ. Πρωτονοτάριος, Κ. Σαρκίρης, Γ. Χρυσοχοϊδης και οι συνοδοί καθηγητές τους Ε. Δοδοπούλου και Α. Λυμπέρης συμμετείχαν σε μαθησιακές δραστηριότητες οργανωμένες από το σχολείο υποδοχής.
Οι μαθητές προετοίμασαν ερευνητικές εργασίες σχετικές με τον εθελοντισμό και τις τράπεζες χρόνου, με στόχο να αναδειχθούν οι δράσεις του σχολείου μας στον τομέα αυτό και η αξία του ενεργού πολίτη.
Στο σχολείο Bertha-Von-Suttner τα παιδιά συμμετείχαν σε θεατρικές δραστηριότητες αλληλογνωριμίας που οργάνωσαν τα μέλη του English Theatre Berlin, ξενάγηση στο σχολείο, αθλητικές δραστηριότητες και τρία εργαστήρια ακτιβισμού, με στόχο τα παιδιά να κατανοήσουν πώς μπορούν να αναλάβουν πρωτοβουλίες για τη βελτίωση των κακώς κειμένων της κοινωνίας μας.
Είδαν παραδείγματα ακτιβιστών που μάχονται εναντίον των Νεοναζιστών και της ρητορικής του μίσους. Κατασκεύασαν τα δικά τους αυτοκόλλητα για την προώθηση του αντικειμένου για το οποίο θα αναλάβουν δράση και πόστερ για την προώθηση των 17 Παγκόσμιων Στόχων του ΟΗΕ για Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη.
Οι μαθητές επίσης επισκέφθηκαν την έκθεση του μουσείου Futurium «Democracy in Progress» και την έκθεση «Topographie des Terrors – Berlin 1933-1945», είδαν την ταινία ανθρωπιστικού και πολιτικού ενδιαφέροντος «Ballon» και παρακολούθησαν μαθήματα ιστορίας για τον Ψυχρό Πόλεμο και το Τείχος του Βερολίνου, στο οποίο και ξεναγήθηκαν.
Επίσης έγινε ξενάγηση στα σημαντικότερα μνημεία του Βερολίνου. Η ξενάγηση αυτή έγινε κατά τη διάρκεια ποδηλατικού γύρου με στάση και ξενάγηση ανά μνημείο.
Το σημαντικότερο όφελος από το ταξίδι αυτό όμως ήταν οι σχέσεις που ανέπτυξαν οι Έλληνες μαθητές με τους Γερμανούς που τους φιλοξένησαν, αλλά και τους Ιταλούς συμμαθητές τους, που επίσης συμμετείχαν στο ίδιο πρόγραμμα. Τα παιδιά εξάσκησαν τα αγγλικά τους, ξεπέρασαν προσωπικές ανασφάλειες, ανέπτυξαν πρωτοβουλία και αυτοπεποίθηση, ήρθαν σε επαφή με διαφορετικές κουλτούρες και νοοτροπίες, προπονήθηκαν με ένα λόγο για να γίνουν οι Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες του αύριο, που ευχόμαστε να ζήσουν σε μία κοινωνία προοδευτική, δημοκρατική και φιλειρηνική.
Αυτός είναι άλλωστε και ο λόγος για τον οποίο η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση προωθεί και συγχρηματοδοτεί το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, ένα πρόγραμμα επιτόπιας, βιωματικής μάθησης αλλά και μία ευκαιρία για φιλίες πέρα από εθνικά και γλωσσικά σύνορα.
Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε θερμά το Europaeisches Gymnasium Bertha-Von-Suttner και τους καθηγητές του που ανέλαβαν τη διοργάνωση και υλοποίηση του προγράμματος για την άψογη οργάνωση και ποικιλία των δράσεων, τη μαθησιακή αποτελεσματικότητά τους και τη θερμή υποδοχή και φιλοξενία που μας επεφύλαξαν. Θα θέλαμε επίσης να συγχαρούμε τους μαθητές μας για την επάξια εκπροσώπηση του σχολείου μας και να ευχαριστήσουμε τις οικογένειες των μαθητών, Ελλήνων και Γερμανών, για την υποστήριξη του προγράμματος.
Erasmus+ Time Banks: educational trip to Berlin
During the week of April 7-12, 2024, fourteen students of the Α’ Arsakeiο Tositseiο High School of Ekali in Athens, Greece, visited the Europaeisches Gymnasium Bertha-Von-Suttner in Berlin, Germany, accompanied by two accompanying teachers.
S. Anastasiou, A. Asimaki, G. Koustenis, S. Balafouta, M. Baltzoglou-Kousiera, A. Makrydaki, E. Mitsoni, A.M. Monou, S. Pamiadakis, K Papagiotidis, E. Peteinou, G. Protonotarios, K. Sarkiris, G. Chrysochoidis and their accompanying teachers E. Dodopoulou and A. Lymberis participated in learning activities organized by the host school.
The students prepared research papers and powerpoint presentations related to volunteering and time banks, with the aim of highlighting our school’s actions in this field and the value of the active citizen.
At the Bertha-Von-Suttner school the students participated in theater activities organized by the members of English Theater Berlin, a school tour, sports activities and three activism workshops, with the aim of making the children understand how they can take initiatives to improve the ills of our society. They saw examples of activists fighting against Neo-Nazis and their hate speech. They made their own stickers to promote their cause of action and posters to promote the UN’s 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
The students also visited the Futurium museum exhibition ‘Democracy in Progress’ and the exhibition ‘Topographie des Terrors – Berlin 1933-1945’, watched the film ‘Ballon’ of humanitarian and political interest and attended history lessons on the Cold War and the Berlin Wall, where they attended a guided tour.
There was also a tour of the most important monuments of Berlin. This took place during a bicycle tour with stops and comments at each monument.
The most important benefit from this trip, however, was the relationships that the Greek students developed with the Germans who hosted them as well as their Italian students who also participated in the same program. The children practiced their English, overcame personal insecurities, developed initiative and self-confidence, came into contact with different cultures and mindsets, to become the European citizens of tomorrow, who we wish to live in a progressive, democratic and peaceful society .
This is, after all, the reason why the European Union promotes and co-finances the Erasmus+ program, an on-site, experiential learning program and an opportunity for friendships across national and linguistic borders.
We would like to warmly thank the Europaeisches Gymnasium Bertha-Von-Suttner and its teachers who undertook the organization and implementation of the program for the impeccable organization and variety of activities, their learning effectiveness and the warm welcome and hospitality they extended to us. We would also like to congratulate our students for representing our school well and thank the families of the students, Greek and German, for supporting the program.
Erasmus+ Young Europeans Speak Up Too: επίσκεψη στο Flensburg
Ομάδα μαθητών και καθηγητών του Α’ Αρσακείου Τοσιτσείου Λυκείου Εκάλης επισκέφθηκε το σχολείο Fördegymnasium Flensburg στην πόλη Flensburg της Γερμανίας, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Erasmus+ Young Europeans Speak Up Too, κατά την εβδομάδα 11-16 Φεβρουαρίου 2024. Στην ίδια διοργάνωση συμμετείχαν μαθητές και καθηγητές και από τα υπόλοιπα συνεργαζόμενα Ευρωπαϊκά σχολεία του προγράμματος, το RSG ‘t Rijks (Ολλανδία), το SVGS (Sandnes, Νορβηγία), το LSS G.Galilei (Ιταλία) και IES Vega del Prado (Ισπανία).
Οι μαθήτριες Ι. Ζαχαριά, Ε. Κατωπόδη, Μ. Κρούσκου, Α. Παρασκευουλάκου και Στ. Παπαστεργίου, με τη συνοδεία των κκ. Ε. Δοδοπούλου και Ι. Σωτηρόπουλου, μετέβησαν στο Flensburg, εκπροσωπώντας το σχολείο μας και παρουσιάζοντας τις εργασίες που είχαν εκπονήσει, με θέμα νέους ανθρώπους που έχουν υψώσει τη φωνή τους για ένα σημαντικό κοινωνικό θέμα.
Η ομάδα επέλεξε να παρουσιάσει τον παραολυμπιονίκη κολύμβησης Αντώνη Τσαπατάκη και τον Ευρωβουλευτή Στέλιο Κυμπουρόπουλο, που με τη ζωή και το έργο τους στηρίζουν έμπρακτα τον αγώνα των ατόμων με ειδικές ανάγκες για ισοτιμία και κοινωνική ένταξη.
Επίσης τα παιδιά παρουσίασαν δράσεις εθελοντισμού του Α’ Αρσακείου Τοσιτσείου Λυκείου Εκάλης, που αναδεικνύουν το πνεύμα αλληλεγγύης και την κοινωνική ευαισθησία των μαθητών και καθηγητών του σχολείου μας.
Οι μαθήτριες επίσης επισκέφθηκαν το κάστρο Schloss Glucksburg και το κοινοβούλιο του Κιέλου, καθώς και το Μουσείο Μοντέρνας Τέχνης του Αμβούργου, ενώ περιηγήθηκαν το Αμβούργο μαζί με τους Γερμανούς οικοδεσπότες τους και τους Ισπανούς, Ιταλούς, Νορβηγούς και Ολλανδούς μαθητές της πολυεθνικής ομάδας του YES-U2.
Ήταν μία πολύτιμη εμπειρία γνώσης, προσωπικής ωρίμασης και διεθνικού διαλόγου ανάμεσα σε μαθητές με διαφορετική κουλτούρα αλλά με ένα πολύ σημαντικό κοινό σημείο: την επιθυμία να χτίσουν μία Ευρώπη ειρήνης και φιλίας.
Τα προγράμματα Erasmus+ συγχρηματοδοτούνται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και εποπτεύονται από το ΙΚΥ.
Erasmus+ Young Europeans Speak Up Too: visit to Flensburg
A group of students and teachers of A’ Arsakeio Tositseio Lyceum of Ekali, in Athens, Greece, visited the Fördegymnasium Flensburg school in the city of Flensburg, Germany, as part of the Erasmus+ Young Europeans Speak Up Too program, during the week of February 11-16, 2024. In the same event, students and teachers participated also from the other partner European schools of the program, RSG ‘t Rijks (Netherlands), SVGS (Sandnes, Norway), LSS G.Galilei (Italy) and IES Vega del Prado (Spain).
The students I. Zacharia, E. Katopodi, M. Krouskou, A. Paraskevoulakou and St. Papastergiou, accompanied by Mrs. E. Dodopoulou and Mr. I. Sotiropoulos, traveled to Flensburg, representing A’ Tositseio Lykeio, in order to present their research and multimedia presentations and to discuss on the subject of young people who have raised their voices on an important social issue.
The group chose to present Paralympic swimming champion Antonis Tsapatakis and MEP Stelios Kymbouropoulos, who support with their lives and work the struggle of people with special needs for equality and social inclusion.
The students also presented the activities of the volunteering team of A’ Arsakeio Tositseio Lyceum of Ekali, which highlight the spirit of solidarity and the social awareness of the students and teachers of our school.
They also visited Schloss Glücksburg Castle and the Kiel Parliament, as well as the Hamburg Museum of Arts and Crafts, while touring Hamburg with their German hosts and the Spanish, Italian, Norwegian and Dutch students of the multinational YES-U2 team.
It was a valuable learning experience and an opportunity for transnational dialogue among students with different cultures but with a very important common point: the desire to build a Europe of peace and friendship.
The Erasmus+ programs are co-financed by the European Union and supervised by the IKY.
